"Thanks. And I agree, what Bendy and Slott have done with Spidey over the years is remarkable and only outdone by “The Man” himself. It’s a new Golden Age for Spidey and I couldn’t be prouder of what our creators and Publishing group have been accomplishing with him." (no, man, Slott, Straczynski and you have destroyed Spider-Man. "Sins Past", "One More Day" and "superior Spider-Man" have ruined Spider-Man. Spider-Man is dead. RIP Spider-Man.) - Jono

Whoa, thanks for letting me know. Quick someone cancel the movie!

In all seriousness, sorry it hasn’t been your cup of tea. There’s no doubt that we can’t please everyone with everything we do so I get what you’re feeling, but for others out there Spidey’s been doing just fine.

I jumped aboard as a subscriber to Amazing Spider-Man in 2005 and haven’t left since: not after One More Day, not after Brand New Day, not after Superior Spider-Man. I honestly think Slott is my favorite Spidey writer after Stan Lee and Gerry Conway.

Everyone’s entitled to their own opinions and it gets tiring to hear whiny fanboys cry that “Spider-Man is dead” when there is a dedicated fanbase that enjoys the current interpretation. And if you don’t, you can enjoy Miles Morales and Ultimate Spider-Man, though there are loads of haters on that boat for reasons a bit more hateful than “he’s no longer married.”
